    The movie made keen to read the books. So started at number one and now having just finished it, I loved it but can someone please help me to understand how the hell the movie studio bosses let the dwarf tom cruise play jack. I mean you only have to read the detail that lee child writes in describing jack reacher and visualise it to realise that tom cruise is not the right person to play this role! Please having read that the options on more movies to be made please look at someone else other than Tom dwarf cruise

    Without giving away a major spoiler.. I'll just say there is such a monumental coincidence in this novel that the author spends the next few pages trying to justify me that's just lazy writing..ruined the story for me. I don't think I'll be visiting Jack Reacher in written form anytime soon.

    As usual loved Lee Child's no nonsense detailed dynamic work. In this time of political correctness and blurred gender lines this stands out. However I must say, being a fan, how appalled I am that Lee Child would actually approve the casting of that midget cretin Tom Cruise in the role of Reacher in the movie version of One Shot. My horse would have made a better character than Cruise. As they say here in Australia, mate, " Tell 'em they're dreamin'". One day Lee you'll realize you sold out a fabulous brand for a flop movie. Anyway, I hope you are feeling better soon, mate, and you get your marbles back. John Sanderson Australia

    I read One Shot which was terrific. All of the others so far have been ok, and enjoyable reads including this one, but I don't know if it's worth $10. I just got into buy books from iTunes, and at this cost I will be getting out soon.

    This book cost me $4.99 and I checked the next 5 books in the series and they too were $4.99. I went to buy the second book and it has doubled in price to 9.99. Why the excessive price hike for a digital download Ebook????????
